I decided to set up a Foundation whose purpose is to protect the environment and to encourage sustainable development (...). By definition, this is a common global challenge that requires urgent and concrete action in response to three major environmental issues: climate change, biodiversity and water.
Photomazza is a multilingual website dedicated to the understanding of nature, set up in 2003 by Giuseppe Mazza with photos from his archives. There are over 3,000 pages with hundreds of articles on animals and plants, more than 10,000 photos organised by his family or taxonomic groups and accessible via two search engines linked to the database, and 2,400 fact sheets on biodiversity which are the beginning of a large encyclopaedia on the vegetal and animal world. The Monaco button allows you to visualise several giant panoramic shots of Monaco, the adopted country of Giuseppe Mazza who has also created numerous postage stamps for the Principality and 14 books about nature.
